Milk Allergy
Received a text message yesterday at around 4:00 PM that Alexa had an allergy. I immediately called home and check what really happened.
Trixie, one of the helper at home bought the wrong milk. Alexa’s milk is Nan 1 but instead she bought the Nan HW1. The yaya, Leah, knew already that the milk is different and yet still fed Alexa. At around 10:00 AM, she saw some red spots in Alexa’s legs. She thought it was just insect bite so she applied ointment.
At around 3:30 PM when Alexa woke up, Leah noticed that Alexa has red spots in the face, neck and stomach. So they texted me. I immediately sent a driver to pick up the baby, stayed in the office for sometime to check her condition and at 5:30 PM, we went to St Dominic Medical Center in Bacoor for check up. She was given 3 drops of Virlix and after some time, she stopped scratching her ears and pulling her hair.
Yes, when Alexa is not in the good moood, she pulls her hair.. But most of the time, she is a very sweet, lovable baby. She seldoms cry, only when she is hungry and if its hot. You can see in the attached photo that even if she is not feeling well, her mouth is still widely open. Ready to smile to everyone!
Lesson learned for the yaya. Never ever invent anything without my knowledge. Inform the mom when something is not normal. Dont hide anything because afraid to get scolded.
