Just last night, we had a storytelling session before going to bed. I took an old book about The Gentle Giant, its a story about a giant and salt. The kids were so excited as I described about giants, sea creatures and mountains. These are just a sample fun activities for kids that we do while at home.

As we are on cost cutting measures, I work from Friday to Sunday at home. I originally planned to convert the other room to be my small office but its also difficult when we have guest. That planned didn’t work thus I now work in the sala or in the dining room. And yes, it could be tiring at times especially when kids pester you for things.

When you are working at home, I suggest these kids learning activities:

• coloring

•  making arts & crafts

• answering questionnaires
•  cooking

Adult play an important tole in the lives of children. But work is work.  At times, my son Christoph would complain about me working day and night, in the office and/or at home. He simply cannot understand that life is hard and one must exert all efforts to sustain the financial requirements of the family, but after a few explanations and it all goes to the same result – all for their own benefits. Then he would nod and say yes. He is still young and yet can converse in an adult manner. When I was pregnant with him, I read a lot from Antenatal Classes Sydney to gain more knowledge about taking care of myself and the baby, and safety and fast recovery as I knew that I would once again go through ceasarian section delivery.
